Pressure reveals what comfort can hide.

James reminds us that trials aren’t meaningless interruptions. God can use the things we would rather escape to develop endurance, maturity, and a deeper faith.

Sometimes the prayer isn’t simply, “God, get me out of this.”

Sometimes it’s, “God, don’t let me leave this unchanged.” 🙏

You don’t have to be strong enough for everything you’re facing.

Paul asked God to remove what was causing him pain. Instead, God promised something greater: grace sufficient for the moment and power made perfect in weakness.

Your weakness is not where God stops working. It may be exactly where His strength becomes most visible.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

His grace is enough. 🙏

September is full of opportunities to connect, grow, pray, and serve at 23Church!

El Puente SSL/ESL classes begin September 18, Forged Men gather for breakfast September 26, and we’re looking forward to A Life Changing Weekend with Dr. Dee Evans and Worship Pastor Joseph Stallings on September 26–27.

We’re also kicking off Operation Christmas Child, continuing 23Prays, and there are communities meeting throughout the week at Stillwaters Coffee.

There’s a place for you this September. Come be part of what God is doing at 23!

Everything around us can change. Circumstances shift. Plans fall apart. What felt secure yesterday can be shaken today.

But we belong to a Kingdom that cannot be shaken.

That changes how we face uncertain seasons. We don’t worship because everything is going right. We worship because God is still King.

Be thankful. Stand firm. Worship Him with reverence and awe. 🙏

“Through faith, we stand in this safe place of God’s grace.” Romans 5:2

You don’t have to earn your place with God today. You don’t have to prove that you belong. Through Christ, you have been given access to grace.
