Good Friday—a baffling term for a day that, in earthly terms, could seem no further from good. It was a day of suffering, whipping, chastisement, pain, misery, torment, distress, and every other synonymous expression.
Yet, we look upon today as good. Why? Because we see the end of the story. We know that Sunday is coming—the day of resurrection!
But let’s not pass too quickly over today. There is no resurrection without a crucifixion. And this is the power of the redemption story.
We invite you this Sunday to experience this story in a real and impactful way. Join us as we celebrate the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ!
