We’re thankful for the steady progress on our building expansion! Concrete was poured in November, the roof was removed in December, and over the holidays the floor was installed. Exterior walls are now going up, with more work planned for next week.

Please join us in praying for God’s blessing on this project as it moves forward!

⛪ ✝️ An exciting week at Mountain View! 👷‍♂️ 📸
Digging has officially begun on our new church expansion project! This new addition will provide an open gathering area for before and after worship, an office, and more space for classes and community events. The lower level will include two new classrooms to support our youth ministry.

At the end of worship on Sunday, just as the snow began to fall, we gathered outside to break ground and reflect on what we're truly building on—the foundation of God's Word.

After a lot of planning, permitting, and prayer, we thank God for bringing us to this point. And now, we ask for the Lord's continued blessing on the work ahead.

We're grateful for all who have supported this effort so far, and we're excited for the ministry this space will support in the years to come.

What's the best kind of news? Good news that's meant for you. God sent his Son into this world to right what we had wronged and fix what we had broken. Jesus' arrival was heralded to the world as good news meant for every man, woman, and child. He had come as Savior: to live among us, to die in place of us, and to conquer death for us. Be our guest this Christmas, and hear the good news of great joy meant for you. Our worship will feature an inspiring message, favorite Christmas carols, and a place to worship our Savior, Jesus Christ.

A Veterans Day prayer

We thank you, Lord, for our military veterans. Through those who have “kept the watch” on our behalf, you have prevented war from advancing to our shores, frustrated the plans of wicked people, and protected us from harm.

Move us to offer our patient, listening hearts to those veterans who suffer, including those who suffer in silence. Help us to point them to the perfect peace that is now theirs in Christ.

Move all who fight the good fight of faith, especially those who serve our nation on our behalf, put on faith and love as a breastplate and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

Give to all who have served and all who are actively serving, the identity and purpose that comes only from you, that through baptism, they are forgiven, loved children of their heavenly Father, bought and purchased with the blood of his Son, called and kept in the true faith by the Holy Spirit. Amen.
