Looking for a moment of peace this Lenten season? 🌿

Join us on Saturday, March 14, at 5 PM for Meditations on the Cross—a beautiful evening of music and poetry designed to prepare our hearts for Holy Week.

Under the direction of Larry Vote, the St. Francis Choir will be joined by members of the Paragon Philharmonia and organist Sasha Beresovsky. We are especially honored to welcome Baltimore tenor Opal Clyburn-Miller, performing the role of Jesus in Schütz’s The Seven Words of Christ on the Cross.

From the poetry of Denise Levertov to the timeless compositions of Pergolesi, this is a space for everyone to pause and reflect.

Building Hope Under the Trees 🌳✨

In the isolated region of Ezo, South Sudan, hundreds of teenagers share a common dream: to continue their education. For years, finishing primary school meant reaching a dead end—unless families could afford the high cost and risk of distant boarding schools.

That is changing right now.

The Episcopal Church in Ezo has launched St. Paul’s Secondary School. Currently, students are learning under the shade of trees and in borrowed corners of primary classrooms. They have the drive; they just need the walls.

St. Francis has partnered with the Diocese of Ezo for over 25 years. We are now raising funds to help them move from under the trees into a permanent school building.

The Community’s Commitment: Local volunteers are already making the bricks and providing the labor.

How You Help: Your donations will fund the "essentials" they can't make themselves—steel supports, doors, windows, furniture, and tools.

South Sudan may be the world's youngest and poorest nation, but its youth are its greatest asset. Let’s help them build their future.

🎶✨ Calling all lovers of G.F. Handel’s Messiah! 🎶✨

Join us for the Community Messiah Sing on Saturday, December 13, at 5 PM! Whether you are a listener or a singer, this is a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate this timeless masterpiece.

🎤 Led by our talented Director of Music, Larry Vote, the St. Francis Choir, soloists, musicians from the Paragon Philharmonic, and organist Sasha Beresovsky will present Part One, the Christmas Portion, of Handel's immortal work.

Bring your own score or pick one up at the event. Don't forget to invite a friend to help us create a large chorus in the grand tradition of Messiah performances happening worldwide!

🆓 The Messiah Sing is FREE and open to the public, though freewill donations are appreciated to support this event.
