🍂 Happy “BER” months, church family!

Mrs. Teresa Rocks reminded us this week that fall and winter bring exciting holidays and celebrations—but we don’t need a special occasion or something monumental planned to praise God.

Psalm 103 says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” Every ordinary day is still a gift, and every season gives us a reason to remember His goodness. He is faithful in every season! Miss Teresa dives deeper into this entire chapter in this week’s video, reminding our children of the many reasons we have to praise God every day.🤎🙌🏼

Parents, we encourage you to help your children dive deeper into our “Who I Am Becoming” discipleship initiative by watching the special videos Mrs. Teresa prepares for them each week. You can find them through our church app or podcast! Let’s grow together and help the next generation become more like Jesus, one week at a time.

Worship isn’t reserved for the good days. 🙌

If our worship is based on our circumstances, it will rise and fall with them. But when our worship is rooted in the unchanging goodness of God, we can still give thanks in every season.

This week we were reminded: the measure of our thankfulness reveals the measure of our faith. Job didn’t worship because he understood what was happening, but he worshiped because he knew who God was.

Whatever you’re carrying today—grief, shame, fear, disappointment or failure—bring it to Him. And remember, if He forgave you, stop resentencing yourself. 🤍
