These are some pictures of what was going on last week. Andrew, Brooke, and I finished embossing and prepared the shipping of Everyday in God's Word devotional. While that was going on, Wendy was loading the audio Cartridges for the National Library Service player with the audio recordings that are done by our volunteer readers. If you would be interested in donate just a little bit of your time to record Audio materials, this would greatly help ICBM's Audio ministry. Please reach out to us if you are interested.

This article gives an accurate description the uphill battle the visually impaired community faces in Liberia, Africa. We have been working directly with the Grand Bassa School for the blind and the Christian Association of the blind to attempt to better these circumstances. These two locations are in the city of Buchannon in Grand Bassa County of Liberia, Africa. Please take a few moments to read the article. Thank you for your prayers and support that allows us to make a difference for the visually impaired community by sharing the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ with them and provide needs for schooling, education, and more. Please prayerfully consider support ICBM for these purposes. Thank you.

We are blessed to have our two main embossers that were broken down, up and running again, as well as the dust cleaned off of the Juliet Pro 120. It is a little bit slower, but it still works. The repairs to the Index fanfold ended up costing a little more than 5,000 dollars. If you are willing and able, I would ask your prayer and consideration to help mitigate this unexpected repair that needed to happen for our braille production to continue. Thank you for your prayer and consideration.

We received the Index fanfold yesterday from the manufacturer and immediately put it to work. We are currently embossing the daily Devotional "Everyday in God's Word" for the months of September through December. This will be mailed out next week for our readers to receive before September starts. This daily devotional is important for our audience in assisting them to get into God's scripture everyday.

Thank you for your support in prayer and helping us get the embossers fixed and working again. Thank you God for the work you establish for our hands.

Psalm 90:17
May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us;
establish the work of our hands for us—
yes, establish the work of our hands.

It has been a wonderful summer of connection and outreach! In July, we attended the National Federation of the Blind convention, followed by the National Church Conference of the Blind in early August. These events allowed us to meet wonderful people, share the Gospel, hear inspiring testimonies, and welcome new subscribers to our mailing list.

An Urgent Need for Our Ministry

During the July convention, an attendee noticed that the Braille on one of our book covers was unreadable. Upon returning home, we inspected our equipment and discovered that both of our primary Braille embossers were malfunctioning and producing errors.

Here is where our equipment currently stands:

Index Fanfold Embosser (5–6 years old): After replacing several parts, we had to ship it back to the manufacturer for extensive repairs. It is still away for servicing.

Braille Express 150 (25 years old): The manufacturer no longer supports, repairs, or makes parts for this legacy model. I took the initiative to repair it myself by bypassing a faulty solenoid. It is working for now, but given its age, it is a temporary fix.

Because these two machines handle all of our printings and mailings, being without them has created a significant hurdle for our ministry over the past month.

How You Can Help

This experience highlighted our need to upgrade and expand our equipment so we can continue serving without interruption. We are actively researching new embossers and invite our community to support us in the following ways:

Prayer: Pray for God’s wisdom and direction as we make key decisions for ICBM.

Grant Leads: Share any grant opportunities or foundations that might fund equipment for a ministry like ours.

Financial Support: Consider donating to help fund our new embosser initiative.

Equipment Advice: Reach out if you or someone you know has recommendations or expertise regarding reliable Braille embossers.

Thank you for your ongoing prayers and support as we trust God to guide our path forward!
