Pineapple cream cheese Pound Cake.
3 Sticks of unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups of Lite brown sugar
1-8ounce package of cream cheese
1 cup of regular sugar
5 eggs
1 tablespoon of pure vanilla
1 cup butter milk
1/2 cup of sour cream
1 cup crushed pineapple -drained
3 cups of Swans Down Cake flour
1 tbs baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Bake at 325 for 1 hour ovens may be different might take a little longer or less
Icing
2 cups powder sugar
2tbs melted butter
2tbs crushed pineapple
Pineapple juice.

Don’t forget about the mother son Valentines event tomorrow in the shelter house from 2-4pm. There will be crafts, games, snacks and a devotion from Tara Porter. All ages welcome!!

The women’s ministry will be hosting a mother son event on February 9th from 2-4pm in the shelter house. We invite mothers and sons of all ages to come and enjoy some snacks, games, pictures and a great devotional by Tara Porter!! Hope to see you there!!

Our annual Daughter’s Banquet will be held May 13 at 6pm in the life center. Theme is “We are daughters of the King”. A wonderful meal will be provided along with fun games, prizes and a message from a few amazing ladies from our church. Cost is $7 for adults and children 12 and under are $5. Money can be turned into Roni Thomas or Tammy Doyle and it’s needed by May 8.

It’s that time of year for Oak Grove’s annual Daughter’s Banquet. It is scheduled for May 13 at 6pm in the life center. The theme this year is “We Are Daughters of the King”. Tickets for adults are $7 and $5 for children 12 and under. More details to come in the next couple weeks. Hope to see ladies of all ages there!!

Don’t forget about the women’s prayer breakfast next Saturday at 9am in the shelter house. Tammy Doyle will be giving our devotion. We will have breakfast as well. Women of all ages are welcome to come!!

The women’s ministry at Oak Grove is having their first prayer breakfast Saturday January 19th at 9am in the shelter house. We will be having breakfast casseroles and drinks. Amy Greer will be bringing our message. We would love to see you there!!

Don’t forget about The Daughters Banquet tomorrow night May 7th at the life center starting at 6pm. Come join us for some delicious food, fun games and prizes, our very own Donnette Bondurant speaking, and great fellowship! Theme this year is “Beautiful Soles” based off of Romans 10:15 “...how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Come wearing your most unique or interesting pair of shoes to go along with our theme. Also, we are raffling off a gift basket with lots of fun things in it such as some 31 products, nail polish, lotion and more. Tickets are $1 each and all proceeds will go to the building fund at Oak Grove. Can’t wait to see everyone there!!!
