DAY 5 — Pray for the Weekend Ahead

📖 Colossians 2:6–7 — “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

Retreat is TOMORROW! Pray for safe travel, good health, protection, and smooth logistics. Most importantly, pray that students would disconnect from distractions, connect with God, and connect with one another. Pray that what God begins in their hearts this weekend would take root and continue long after they come home.

📖 Romans 10:17 — “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”

Pray for our worship leaders and speaker. Ask the Holy Spirit to work through every song, message, small group, and conversation. Pray that students wouldn't simply hear another message but would clearly hear what God wants to say to them and have the courage to respond.

DAY 3 — Pray for Our Leaders & Volunteers

📖 1 Peter 4:10 — “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

Pray for every adult leader and volunteer who will be pouring into students. Ask God to give them wisdom, patience, energy, discernment, and the right words at the right moments. Pray that they would model Jesus well and recognize opportunities to encourage and disciple students.

📖 Hebrews 10:24–25 — “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Pray that genuine, Christ-centered friendships would form this weekend. Pray especially for students who may feel nervous, lonely, or like they don’t belong. Ask God to create a community where every student feels welcomed, known, encouraged, and loved.

Hey church family! Our middle and high school students are headed on Fall Retreat this weekend, and we want to invite you to pray for the weekend! Each day we will post and email out a point for you to pray about for the weekend. Day 1 starts TODAY! Thank you for partnering with us in helping the next generation encounter a living God!

DAY 1 - PRAY FOR OUR STUDENTS

Jeremiah 29:13 — “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Pray for every middle and high school student attending Fall Retreat. Ask God to prepare their hearts, remove distractions, worries, or walls that could keep them from encountering Him and help them come ready to hear from Him. Pray that students would encounter Jesus personally and leave the weekend with a deeper desire to know and follow Him.

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS! Fall Retreat is right around the corner, and registration is closing soon! If you haven’t signed up yet, NOW is the time!
