Reflecting On Sunday’s Message: The Voice of Authority Matters!

As we reflected on Genesis 35:16–21, one truth stood out: the words spoken by those God has placed in authority carry great weight.

Rachel died while giving birth to Benjamin, reminding us that life and death are serious matters. In that same account, Jacob, the father, refused to allow his son to carry the identity of Ben-Oni (“son of my sorrow”). Instead, he declared over him Benjamin (“son of my right hand”), changing the identity that would mark his future.

This teaches us that fathers and those God has entrusted with spiritual and parental authority have tremendous influence through the words they speak. Their words can shape identity, purpose, and destiny.

The Bible says:
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” — Proverbs 18:21

Let us be careful to honor and respect the fathers and godly authorities God has placed in our lives. At the same time, let every father understand the responsibility of speaking words that build, bless, and align with God’s purpose over their children.

May every father speak life instead of fear, purpose instead of confusion, and blessing instead of limitation.

During our Father’s Day message, we were reminded of a powerful truth: it is fathers who are responsible for giving their children identity.

In Genesis 35:16-21, as Rachel was giving birth, she named her son Ben-Oni, meaning “son of my sorrow,” because of the pain she experienced. However, his father Jacob refused to allow his son to carry an identity rooted in pain, tragedy, and suffering. Instead, Jacob renamed him Benjamin, meaning “son of my right hand.”

This powerful passage teaches us that fathers have a God-given responsibility to speak life, purpose, destiny, and identity into their children. While circumstances may try to define them, a father’s voice has the power to redirect their future according to God’s purpose.

This week, we honor all fathers who are raising, leading, teaching, protecting, and imparting godly identity to the next generation. Your words matter. Your presence matters. Your leadership matters.

May every father walk in wisdom and understanding as they help shape the destiny of their children.

What a joy it is to be in the Presence of the Lord!!!

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” — Psalm 133:1

Today was truly a beautiful and blessed Sunday as we gathered together in worship, fellowship, and thanksgiving. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Prophet Isaac and Prophetess Stephanie for joining us and sharing in this sweet fellowship. Your presence was a blessing to the Kingdom Embassy Center family, and we are grateful for the love, encouragement, and unity we experienced together.

The Word of God reminds us:
“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…” — Hebrews 10:24-25

Today was also dedicated to honoring our Kingdom Men! We celebrate and appreciate every father, grandfather, spiritual father, mentor, and father figure.
