Heavenly Father, we praise and worship Your Holy name. We love You with our whole hearts. Write Your holy Word on the tablet of our hearts, and let Your Son shine ever so brightly in our lives to show Your goodness and kindness to others.
Let us be good ambassadors of Christ to spread the gospel to all who can hear the good news, that You sent Your Son to die on the cross for our sins, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
Father, Your word tells us to be of strong courage and be not afraid, and through You, we have the strength and walk our life in Christ with boldness and courage. Your word teaches us patience, You guide us beside still waters and restore our souls.
Comfort those who need Your healing power. Protect us under the shadow of Your wings from disease, evil, and wickedness. Find jobs for our brothers and sisters who are eager to work. Help those who cry out to You who are poor and hungry. Show blessings to all Your children.
You are the Most High who can do all things; nothing is impossible to You. Father, I ask that You give faith to unbelievers for You wish that no one should perish. Open their hearts to hear the truth of Your word, and give them faith to believe.
Father, help us to love and pray for our enemies, and for those who persecute us for Jesus' namesake. Lead us, Father, through the Holy Spirit to walk in truthfulness and righteousness. Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts in all that we do, and may we always abide and trust in our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Forgive us of our transgressions in Jesus' name. Amen.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness”—Psalm 23:1–3.

The Shepherd of the Flock

The shepherd is the leader of the flock. He leads, and the herd follows. Sheep become unorganized and scattered when pushed from behind. They follow a leader they trust. During ancient Palestine, finding green pasture was a difficult task. During dry periods, much of the land was barren. The shepherd knows which path to take for green pastures to feed his flock and to give them rest. The shepherd knows his flock must have the provision of water to sustain life. The good shepherd leads His flock to calm, resting water.

Jesus is our Good Shepherd who leads His flock to abundant blessings. He shows His flock to green pastures, a place to eat, and a place of rest. When we pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” we ask for things we need. God knows our needs, and He provides for us. He leads His flock to calm, relaxing waters, which soothe the soul. It is the thanksgiving of peace that God provides to us. This passage teaches us the abundance of God’s provisions and that we have God’s assurance, guidance, and protection.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I praise your holy name and love you with my whole heart. You are worthy of being praised. I come to you with an open heart seeking your love, grace, and mercy.

Thank you, Father, for the blessings you have given to me. Thank you for loving a sinner like me. You lead me down the path of righteousness and give me rest in green pastures. You calm my soul and give me peace.

Father, guard and protect my family and me from evil and wickedness, and place a hedge of protection around us. Rain down your precious grace on us and show us abundant blessings.

Provide for those who fervently love you and bless them with your never-ending love and grace. Heal those who are sick. Please show them your mighty, healing powers. Draw near to those who are lost and heal the brokenhearted.

Guide my path by the Holy Spirit to walk in obedience to do your will, and keep me from temptation and the evil one. Forgive me of my sins.

In the name of Jesus, I pray.

There is a spiritual war going on every day in this world—an invisible war that is not made of flesh but principalities, evil spiritual forces attempting to destroy God’s divine plan. You must arm yourself against the strategies of the devil. We have to be prepared to fight spiritually. We prepare for war by putting on the “Whole” armor of God:
1- Breastplate of righteousness: Do good, be honest, help others.
2- Belt of truth. The truth of God’s Word.
3- Shoes of peace: Be a good disciple of Christ, spread the gospel.
4- Shield of faith: Having faith in God’s promises.
5- Helmet of salvation: Jesus Christ died for our sins.
6- Sword of the Spirit: The Holy Word of God.

Paul encourages us to “Put on the armor of light…clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 13: 12, 14 NIV). When we put on the whole armor of God, we are putting on Jesus Christ.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you for all the blessings you have given to my family and me. You are an awesome God who can do all things. Guard and comfort us, Father, under the shadow of your wings. Keep evil and wickedness far from us. Thank you for your divine protection.

Direct my steps through the Holy Spirit to walk in righteousness. Let my continuance shine for all to see your good works in me. Lock your holy Word in the bank of my heart. Your love, grace, and mercy have filled my heart with rich treasures.

Let the peace of Christ reign in my heart in all that I do. Shower me with your abundant blessings. Keep me from anger and help me to show love to those who are against you. Give me the strength to withstand any difficult situation that may come. Help me to make wise decisions. Help me to lead my family in a godly manner with biblical principles. Through you, Father, I can do all things. Thank you, Father, for hearing and answering my prayer. Deliver me from temptation and forgive me of my sins.
In Jesus’s holy name, I pray.

Dear, heavenly Father, you are an awesome God who can do all things. I come to you seeking your divine guidance and wisdom.
Father, you know my heart and my worries. Take my anxieties from me, and fill my heart with your never-ending peace and comfort. Teach me your ways that I may walk in ways that are acceptable to you.
Give me good health that I may live a long and joyous life. Bless my family and me with your abundant blessings. Shower us with your grace and tender mercies. Guard and protect us from harm and wickedness. Shelter us under the shadow of your wings.
Guide my steps and actions to be directed by the Holy Spirit. Lead me to walk in truthfulness and righteousness. Let the peace of Christ reign in my heart in all that I do. Deliver me from temptation and keep evil far from me. Forgive me of my sins. In Jesus’s name, I pray. Amen.

Teach Me Your Will

Heavenly Father, there is none greater than you. You are an awesome God. I praise your holy name all day long and love you with my whole heart. I come to you on bended knees and with an open heart, seeking your instruction and wisdom.

Father, you remember my past prayers that were of selfish desires. You listened to my supplications, while I went without your divine counsel. I asked of things based on my own will instead of praying that I would do yours. I acknowledge my mistake Lord; please forgive me in Jesus’s name. Purge my heart from selfish desires and fill it with the desire to do your will in my life.

Teach me to understand and do your will that you have set for me in my life. Show me your good ways and guide me with your eyes upon me. Direct my steps to walk in righteousness. Open my mouth to speak truthfulness. Let my hands extend with love as the love you have shown me. Be the flame that shines brightly in my heart so that others may see your good works in me.

Father, strengthen my faith to abide by your holy ways always. During the darkest moments, I know you are still with me. You never forsake me. You hold faithful to your promises. You are the light that gets me through the storm, my refuge, my fortress, my shield, and my buckler. No fear shall take away the love you have for me. I trust in you with all my heart, and my understanding is always in you. When I am weak, I gain strength through you.

Grant my family and me financial blessings. But also rain down your sweet grace from your loving heart. Show abundant blessings to those who reverently fear and love you wholeheartedly.

Take away from me the burden and worry for the things in my life. Secure me with the warmth of your comforting love, grace, and mercy. Let my eyes see holy things and allow my ears to be deaf to worldly ones.

Father, I acknowledge my iniquities against you. Take my transgressions, through the blood of the lamb, Jesus Christ, my redeemer, and savior. Throw them into the sea of forgetfulness. Wash me with your precious grace, cleaning me white as snow.

Show healing to those who are sick, and heal their bodies with your almighty power. Uplift the spirits of those who are facing difficult times. Bring them near to your heart and show them your tender mercies. I pray for those who have done wrong to me and for those who have hate in their hearts. Lord, open their hearts so they may see the love you give freely. Open the hearts of nonbelievers that they might know you wish no one to perish but live eternally in your kingdom.

Father, I praise and worship your name all day long. Thank you, Father, for giving me your unconditional love. Shield and protect me from evil and deliver me from temptation. Guard my heart with the peace of Christ. Forgive me of my sins.

In Jesus’s name, I pray.

When your world seems to be caving in around you, your best friend doesn’t seem so available, and the rope you once held has shredded to a single piece of twine, grab your Bible and meditate on these: “Fear not, for I am with you” Is 41:10, “Be still, and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10, and “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding” Proverbs 3:5-6.

May the God of comfort bless you abundantly in Christ Jesus...NRH
