TEXT: SONG OF SOLOMON 7:1-13
TOPIC: "LET ALL LIVING SOULS PRAISE THE LORD"

The author of Song of Solomon repeatedly admired the beauty of the maiden in the text of today, with detailed description of her immense favour from her head down to her toes. The passage today may look romantic to some, but to the curious reader, you cannot but see the hand of God being credited for all the beauty humanity possesses. Those who teach and propagate the theory of evolution about man’s ancestors of apes and monkeys are clearly deluded and misguided.

We see evidence of the creative element everywhere, from the beautiful flowers and trees of the field, to the singing birds in the air; from the beautiful scenery, the waterfalls, to the beauty and wonders of the human body. All should combine to convince man that it is impossible to argue against the incredible – man is a masterpiece created by the Almighty God and made for the purpose of showing forth His glory and majesty.
Every living soul should not forget to give praise to God.

PRAYER POINTS:

Today, I declare with my mouth that the Lord reigns. I bless the Lord and lift His name on high, for He is the Rock of my salvation, in Jesus name. Amen.

In Jesus name, the Lord Reigns above the heavens and the earth, no one dares to compare with Him and His excellent greatness. Amen.

My mouth will continue to give You praise and call You sweet names that You deserve for as long as I live, and have some oxygen left in me, in Jesus name. Amen.

I praise my Master, my Lord, my Elshadai, Jehovah Lord, for He is glorious and Merciful in Jesus name. Amen.

My Lord, I reference Your name for You are the God that shuts the mouth of all my foes, in Jesus name. Amen.

My Father in heaven, I adore You for the awesomeness of Your creations which You have made possible for the benefit of mankind, in Jesus name. Amen.

Oh Lord , my Father, I appreciate You because You made me in Your image and likeness, in Jesus name. Amen.

My Father, I appreciate You because of Your grace towards me, grace to come forth and make Your glory known as Your beloved creation, in Jesus name.
Amen.

TUESDAY
TEXT: 2CHRONICLES 9:23-31
TOPIC: "UNCOMMON FAVOR"

From passage, God was clearly the source of Solomon’s wealth. His vast fortune was not a result of his hard work, goal-setting and business acumen. Right after his prayer at the high place at Gibeon and God’s promise to endow him with great wisdom and riches, things turned around for the best for Solomon. The sea was propitious unto him as a constant navy of ships brought the purest of gold from distant lands. Kings and rulers from far and near brought unsolicited presents, including rare vessels of gold and silver, clothes, spices, horses and mules every year to mention a few. The territories under Israel’s rule continued to increase.

When God blesses someone, He operates under an open heaven and favour from men increases. God can do it again in our present-day. He promised to pour out His blessing until there shall not be enough room to receive it, but we must learn to seek Him early.
Favour sets a man apart from his
contemporaries.

PRAYER POINTS:

Everything done against me to spoil my joy this year, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

O Lord, as Abraham received favour from You, I also receive Your favour so that I can excel, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

It does not matter, whether I deserve it or not, I receive unquantifiable favour from the Lord, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Every blessing God has earmarked for me this year will not pass me by, in the name of Jesus.
Amen.

Father Lord, disgrace every, power, that is out to steal Your programme for my life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Every step I take for the remaining of this year shall lead to outstanding success, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I shall prevail with man and with God, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, Thank You for encompassing me with Your endless favour, in Jesus name. Amen.

MONDAY
TEXT: JOB 9:25-35
TOPIC: "YOU ARE MOVING FROM DISGRACE TO GRACE"

Job had his day of trials also when he lost everything he had.
From our text, he was becoming desperate for answers. His days, he said, was swifter than the fast ships and was like the eagles that hasted to their prey. His friends couldn’t comfort him; neither could he comfort himself. He wished for a middleman to plead his case before God. He acknowledges the supremacy of God and His ability to change anything but his life was a burden to him. Like Job, we may be passing through our own bitter experience with the attendant emptiness. Job’s story could be your own story if you are passing through such intense trouble, and yet there is no one to help or comfort you.

It’s then we can trust in Jesus, who has promised to be near no matter how far we may appear to be. Your trust in God at such times is very vital too, as only faith and hope in Him will make you see the end from the beginning. Job’s latter life was glorious; yours also will not be different as you hold on till the end.
Man’s disgrace has been reversed by God’s grace.

PRAYER POINTS:

Father, thank You for it is of Your mercy that You cleansed me of all wrongdoing, thereby saving me from all the consequences of my sins, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, thank You for it is of Your mercies that I am not consumed by the wicked one, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, let me be among those that will continually see Your mercy in the land of the living, all the days of my life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, by Your mercy, let me be found worthy of Your mercy in all the affairs of my life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, thank You for Your grace that is speaking mightily in my life and destiny, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, thank You for Your grace that is sufficient for me in all my affairs in life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, thank You for Your mighty hand of grace sustaining my life and family all through this years, in Jesus name. Amen.

SUNDAY
TEXT: 2 KINGS 4:1-7
TOPIC: "MAKE USE OF WHAT YOU HAVE"

Some so-called believers would rather stay idle and sleep all day instead of finding something profitable to do with their hands. Others are looking for the elusive white or blue collar jobs in a tight economy. They would rather go about begging than be occupied in doing an honourable job.

Those who desire God’s blessing must be ready to wake up early and work hard. When a certain woman of the sons of the prophets cried to Elisha concerning her inability to pay the debts left behind by her late husband, Elisha wanted to know what was going for her. When he discovered the only thing available in the house was a pot of oil, he prayed over the oil to maintain a ceaseless flow until all her vessels were filled. When she came back to the man of God to report the miracle of supernatural supply, she was told to sell them, pay her debts and live on the rest with her sons. Like the woman in our text, there are many believers looking for financial breakthrough.

What we learn from this passage is the need to find out what’s going for you – the commodity you can sell or the service you can provide. That is where the blessing may begin. The woman surely knows something about oil because she had some in her house already. It was a business she understands to do. We need to understand that blessing and multiplication sometimes come upon what we already know how to do.

There should be no room for laziness, and we must not despise the day of small beginnings; neither should we feel debased by the product we’re selling. There ought to be no lack or want for those whose trust is in God for the deposit of His grace is ever with them.
Despise not little talents which have the capacity to become great in the morrow.

PRAYER POINTS:

I command every monitoring spirit following up my progress be blinded forever, in Jesus name.
Amen.

I declare, that I shall never fail in life, in Jesus name. Amen.

I declare, that this week will favour me on every side, in Jesus name. Amen.

I declare, that from now on, I shall excel in all I do, in Jesus name. Amen.

I declare, that my destiny helpers locate me now, in Jesus name.
Amen.

I declare, that I shall never lack money again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I am a favored child of my Father God, therefore I shall not fail in life, in Jesus name.
Amen.

I declare, that in life I will always be at the right place and at the right time, in Jesus name. Amen.

SATURDAY
TEXT: LUKE 5:27-39
TOPIC: "CHRISTIAN'S CORE MANDATE"

During our Lord’s physical stay here on earth, He led the way and pointed out the urgency of preaching to the sinner. The huge success of the Lord’s work thereafter is seen in the response of sinners like Levin (Matthew) who left worldly wealth behind for spiritual fortune.

This is an indication that if today’s soul winner follows in the footsteps of the Lord, he shall likewise record resounding achievements in the field. We are expected to give our all so that when Christ returns, He will find a teeming righteous church to take home. He is expecting to meet a global congregation which would not have adulterated His biblical teaching of holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord, with modern doctrines of eternal security and ecumenism.

He is hoping to meet His church imbibing the wine of old-time religion that sustained the faithful prophets and the early apostles. Since we know the time is short for the undertaking of these responsibilities, committed Christians would do well to let evangelism be their meat and to “take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares” (Luke 21:34).
Soul-winning is the core of the Christian enterprise.

PRAYER POINTS:

Father, help us to break new grounds in evangelism, frustrate the effort of the anti-Christ, in Jesus name. Amen.

Father, cause all Your people to become willing in wining souls, in the name of Jesus.
Amen.

Father, may we never close our mouth, but to tell people what You have done, in Jesus name. Amen.

Father, help us to always turn to You and to teach people to turn to You at all times, in Jesus name. Amen.

Father, let Your word have its rightful place in the hearts of all in Jesus name. Amen.

Father, disappoint the devices of the crafty let not their hands perform their enterprise as touching to soul wining, in Jesus name.
Amen.

Father, let every evil hand against evangelism and soul wining in our nations be paralyzed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Oh Lord, uproot every evil thing in our nations that is hindering evangelism, in thy name of Jesus. Amen.

Let spiritual and physical wickedness in our nations standing against soul wining be terminated now, in Jesus name. Amen.

Father, revoke every decree against evangelism and soul wining in our nations, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Every gate that is standing against evangelism and soul wining in my nation, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

FRIDAY
TEXT: JOB 27:11-23
TOPIC: "THE WEALTH OF THE WICKED"

Job spoke about the portion of the wicked with God, and the heritage of oppressors. They heap up so much, but it vanishes away and amounts to nothing in the light of eternity. They may multiply wives, children and riches and build houses by robbing others, but they die and leave all behind. The terrors of God take hold of them when they are at the apex of their celebrations, and they eventually go down to face the wrath and judgment of God. What vanity!

This does not in any way suggest that all who are rich are evil. The problem is about trusting in riches to the extent that one begins to disregard God and His word.

People are concentrating on how to achieve their set objectives without including God in their plans.
There is a void in the human heart that cannot be filled or satisfied with more drinking, smoking, partying and merriments; only God can. Therefore, you must not continue to ignore the inner promptings of the Holy Spirit calling you to repentance and the newness of life in Christ.
The emptiness in your life can only be filled by God Himself.

PRAYER POINTS:

I receive a greater thirst to study and mediate on the word of God, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father, I ask that You please cleanse and purge me afresh from every form of sin and guilt and hopelessness, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father, let Your fire burn to ashes, everything in my life that goes against holiness.
I refuse to be a spiritual vagabond, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Holy Ghost fire, destroy every root of bitterness from my life now, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Amen.

Father, help me to always be on fire and to always be ready to do Your will, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Father, help me to get rid of every little sin that easily besets me, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

THURSDAY
TEXT: JOB 9:12-24
TOPIC: "ALL POWERFUL AND MERCIFUL GOD"

Holy and righteous God, wielding an awesome and overwhelming power tempered with love, mercy, justice and wisdom, it is impossible for corrupting influences to come into play. In his suffering, Job acknowledges this greatness of the power of the Almighty to do anything. But unfortunately, he displays a limited and flawed understanding of this power. He believes God will destroy people wilfully.

Such is this dim view that Job even believes that the righteous Judge would not spare the righteous on the day of His wrath. Man encounters challenges allowed by God or sent by Him to either chastise us for our wrongdoing or to grow and mature us for fruitful service in His Kingdom. Our contemplation of these trials must not be seen from the narrow prism of suffering. Would a woman in labour lament she is suffering? Job is right in ascribing absolute power to the Almighty. He is also right in stating that we cannot question God’s wisdom when He decides to punish the wicked who refuses to repent on His conditions. But the Scripture does not support the position that God would multiply a person’s “wounds (sufferings) without a cause”.

God challenges us to “reason together” with Him and plead our case so He can show us mercy. It is the great love and compassion flowing from His power that enabled Him listen to the intercessory pleas of Abraham, Moses, Samuel, Daniel and the Apostles of the early Church. It was that same love and mercy that finally led Him to send Jesus Christ His only begotten Son to break the wall of partition between man and his Creator. Trust Him and you will never be disappointed.
God is mercy and love personified: repose your confidence in Him.

PRAYER POINTS:

Father, I confess all my sins, my inadequacies and my shortcomings, please forgive me and show me Your mercy, in the mighty name Of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Oh Lord, let the fire of the Holy Spirit consume me afresh, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Oh Lord, I ask that You break me in every area of my life, help me to lose all sense of pride and self, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Oh Lord, please let the Holy Spirit fill me afresh, in the mighty name of Jesus’ Christ.
Amen.

Every power of darkness that is competing with Your power in my life, I command them to be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Holy Spirit, take charge of my life, every contrary spirit moving around with me, I command them to catch fire, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father, please rekindle my love for You, help me to love and obey You again, as I did when I first gave my life to Christ, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

WEDNESDAY
TEXT: NAHUM 3:7-19
TOPIC: "GOD'S WILL MUST PREVAIL"

Although the name Nahum means “full of comfort”, the predictions of the prophet who bore this name had no consolation for the people of Nineveh where God sent him. This capital of the Assyrian Empire did not deserve a message of comfort by the reckoning of the Almighty Himself.

It was the seat of the terror of the world as well as the shrine of rebellion against God. Nineveh followed the tradition of Babel, having been founded by Ni**od (Genesis 10:8-11). The Assyrians pursued a savage culture that went beyond description. They brutalised Israel and sought to exterminate her and thus abort God’s plan to bring the Saviour into the world through the tribe of Judah in Israel. God was stirred to move and stop Assyria from co-existing with the nations of the world and corrupt them. Nahum was God’s messenger to Assyria.

God is patient and slow to anger in order to fulfill His eternal plan. But it is fatal to abuse His long-suffering. It is also futile for man to use the interlude to amass arsenal for war against the Almighty. Those who resist Him and refuse to settle with Him on His own terms would suffer the fate of the Assyrians and others like them.
No matter the machinations of man, God will always prevail.

PRAYER POINTS:

Oh Lord my Father, Your word declares that all power belongs to You, and that You are ready to give power to those who believe in Christ so they can manifest Your glory on earth, now Lord, I pray that You fill me with the power of Your Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father, I pray that You search me and remove from me everything that will hinder Your power from flowing through me, in Jesus name. Amen.

Oh Lord God of Israel, show forth Your glory, might and power in my life. Shine forth Lord in all Your majesty, in Jesus name. Amen.

Lord, like the apostles of old, I pray that You grant me boldness to declare Your word. I pray that You stretch forth Your hands through my hands to heal the sick, and that miracles, signs and wonders will be done through the name of Your holy Son Jesus everywhere I go, in Jesus name. Amen.

Oh Lord God of hosts, You called me out of darkness and into light, now I ask that You grant me grace to show forth Your praise, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

TUESDAY
TEXT: GENESIS 13:1-18
TOPIC: "YOUR DECISION DETERMINED YOUR DESTINY"

In today’s passage, Abraham left Egypt with all that he had, and while continuing this journey, it cost him a lost opportunity of calling on the name of the Lord, on an altar left unused. Because of his wrong choice in going to Egypt, he fell victim to the fear of man. Then the relationship between his herdsmen and those of Lot became strained.

Abraham wanted peace, and he needed to make choices and take a decisions. He talked to Lot about the problem. Lot should have learnt from the earlier mistakes of Abraham’s choices; but alas, he failed miserably. When he was given the opportunity to choose either to remain with Abraham, or go a separate way, he chose the latter. His choice led him to S***m which eventually robbed him of all that he had.

Believers must be careful of people, places, positions, and privileges that offer themselves readily, so they do not, like Lot, pursue goals and projects that will take them farther from the Lord and His work. Some are journeying down to Egypt with their marital family, or business life, while others are running away from their spiritual benefactors. You will do well today to watch carefully how you handle your life and situations. Remember, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 14:12).
Decision determines destiny.

PRAYER POINTS:

Lord, I thank You for making grace available through the knowledge of Your word. I commit myself to receiving of the word of Your grace for my spiritual growth, fitness, and up keep, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, I know that it's through faith, and patience, I will obtain the promise and come into spiritual maturity. So I pray, that You make me strong with patience. I ask that the fruit of patience will increasingly manifest in me, in Jesus name. Amen.

Good morning and have a peaceful day!
