Join us this Sunday as we gather to worship the Triune God of glory! This Sunday, we will be taking a look at one of the most significant passages of Scripture: Isaiah 6.

In this passage, Isaiah gets a glimpse of the almighty God. The view very nearly killed the prophet. But God's grace delivered the prophet and prepared him for a life of service.

What lessons can we learn from Isaiah? How can we apply these remarkable accounts today?

You'll have to join us to find out!

This Sunday, we will finish our look at Eliphaz's first speech to Job. In considering it, we have learned five ways helping can hurt. In this sixth portion of his speech, we learn the final way helping can hurt: when we wrongly apply the right principles.

Christians are blessed to have God's Word and truth. A consistent problem Christians face, however, is how to apply God's Word and truth to a particular situation. There are times when, like the disciples in Jesus's day, God's people assume sin when there has not been sin (see John 9:2). Of course, the Bible teaches that all have sinned (Rom. 3:23), but it does not mean that all always and only sin, nor does it mean that sin is always and only the cause of physical challenges.

Job's three friends, and friends they were, set the standard of wrongly applying right principles. We will learn from Eliphaz's mistakes how to apply the right principles helpfully, and how the entire speech points us to Jesus Christ.

We invite you to join us this Sunday!

Christoher Ash writes, "There is an irony here, for Eliphaz encourages Job to fear God for exactly the reason the Satan said he had always feared God--for the rewards of piety rather than because God is God."

This Sunday, we will unpack the last portion of Eliphaz's speech to Job. In doing so, we will see the sixth way helping hurts. More than that, we will also be pointed to Jesus Christ, upon whom God's divine wrath fell, and through whom Job and all believers cling for divine deliverance.

In our sermon this coming Sunday, we will look at the second-to-last portion of Eliphaz's initial response to Job. We ha...

In our sermon this coming Sunday, we will look at the second-to-last portion of Eliphaz's initial response to Job. We have learned vital lessons on how not to help. This Sunday, we see how unhelpful it is when we lift ourselves up while putting others down.

How does Scripture guide us, by the Spirit, to help our brothers and sisters grow in the knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus, without hurting them? You can join us to find out!

We have been learning much from Eliphaz's initial speech to Job. In a desire to help his friend, Job, Eliphaz used unfounded reasoning. He expands on the satanic message and seeks to help Job, but inadvertently harms him.

So, how can we help others without hurting them? Join us this Sunday as we seek the answers from God's Word, gathering together to proclaim His greatness!

Come a bit early for several excellent Sunday School classes, too!
