This Sunday, August 23, we are joining the Grass Valley Friends meeting (Quakers) for worship.

The GVFM has been worshiping at Peace since the beginning of 2026. Last month they came to worship with us, now we will visit them.

Worship will take place in the fellowship center. Singing begins at 9:00, worship at 10:00. Hope to see you there.

While God is always there and always with us, it's in the moments of trouble and fear that God comes to us and teaches us our most needed lesson: We can't do it on our own. We need God who calms our fears.

This Sunday, August 9, we will have another worship service with prayer for healing.

The church continues Christ's ministry of healing and reconciliation by prayer with and for all who are sick at body, soul, and mind.

We expect Christ to work through our prayers, the laying on of hands, and anointing to quell our fears and to walk alongside all who are suffering in any way.

Come with openness how Christ will answer your prayers.

This Sunday we welcome the Grass Valley Friends Meeting to our worship service.
The Grass Valley Friends, also known as Quakers, have been worshiping in our former Sunday school rooms since January. This Sunday the GV Friends will worship with us "Lutheran Style". And I will be explaining a bit about our worship service as we go.
On August 23 we will worship together "Quaker Style".
It is good to come together and learn from one another without fear or prejudice.

Be Lavish and Wasteful.

Would you ever have thought to find this on a church page? Yes? No?

Yes, be lavish and wasteful in spreading love and compassion in the world. After all, the God we believe in has given it to us lavishly and extravagantly. Why keeping it back? God‘s love doesn’t diminish when we share it, the opposite, it multiplies.
