Nov. 13th we will be starting up Sunday School classes at 9:45 am. We will offer Adult classes, but older children can join us. MISSION STATEMENT: To joyfully receive and provide a family of faith with encouragement, love, and hope. To be disciples of Christ while ministering to the needs of the community and offering fellowship and leadership to all people. VISION STATEMENT: Serving ALL people and creating Disciples one heart at a time.

Pastor Mary's Memory Verse for this week...
"But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." James 1:6
The message at church this week talked about Peter being brave enough to get out of the boat and walk toward Jesus when the disciples saw Jesus walking toward them on the water. Peter thought he believed enough, but when he looked at the sea water, he became afraid and started to sink. He WAS brave enough to know if he called to Jesus for help, Jesus would save him. We too need to know without any doubt, that Jesus will save US also when we call out for His help. It may not be in the way we think He will help, but we must trust that HE knows what is best for us and WILL help us. NEVER DOUBT JESUS'S LOVE FOR YOU!

Pastor Mary's memory verse for this week..."Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually!" 1 Chronicles 16:11
God never leaves us nor forsakes us, but sometimes WE forget to seek HIS strength in hard times. He is always with us and hears us when we pray. Seek Him and He will answer.

Pastor Mary's memory verse for this week...
"This is love; not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." 1 John 4:10
God DOES love us no matter what, but this doesn't mean we can sin anytime we feel like it. That said, God knows that as humans, we will sin sometimes, usually unintentionally, but still sin. God Loves us SO much that He doesn't want us condemned for our sins if we recognize that we have sinned and are truly sorry and ask for His forgiveness. That is why He sent Jesus here. Jesus took the punishment for those sins we have asked to be forgiven of. If YOU know that you have sinned, ask God to forgive you. God LOVES YOU and Jesus died to save you. Praise be to God!

Pastor Mary's Memory Verse for this week...
"The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy." Psalm 145: 8
Following God's way as written in Psalm, Jesus showed compassion while He was on earth. He healed the sick, fed the poor, comforted those who mourned just to name a few ways. It doesn't say that He doesn't get angry, as we see in Jesus when He turned the tables over at the market outside the Synagogue, but He is slow to anger. It takes a lot for God to get really angry with us. But when we do things that are sins, He is merciful if we realize we did wrong and ask for forgiveness. What a WONDERFUL God we serve!

Pastor Mary's Memory verse for this week... "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21
This is a good thing to remember. When someone or something says or does something that hurts you, do good to them. The memory verse comes after Paul tells us, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay says the Lord. Vs. 20 reads. "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.
