We are a member of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth, which is home to over 700,000 Catholics. Our pastor is Rev. Sojan George. The mission of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is to build a church of missionary disciples by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and reaching the poor. The Church and administration facility, which is situated on 9.6 acres of land near Lake Grapevine, is a

39,000 sq. feet building with church seating for over 1,100, 10 classrooms, meeting room, conference room, office space, and a Parish Hall. Stained glass windows from the original mission church were used in the parish hall to bring forward our past.

Today marks 25 years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
We pause to remember the innocent lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger making the ultimate sacrifice, and the families who were forever changed.
As Catholics, we anchor our grief in the hope of the Resurrection. We pray for eternal rest for the victims and comfort for those who still mourn.

Today, on this First Friday, let us anchor ourselves to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In the First Reading (1 Cor 4:1-5), St. Paul reminds us that human judgments matter very little. When the Lord comes, He “will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart.”
When our hidden faults or anxieties are brought to the light of the Sacred Heart, they aren't met with condemnation. They are met with boundless mercy, healing, and grace. He already knows our hearts completely—we don't have to hide.
Today, let's stop worrying about the "human tribunals" of likes, opinions, and critiques. Instead, let's rest in the only Heart that truly knows and loves us.

Happy Monday of the Twenty-Second Week in Ordinary Time!
It’s easy to think "Ordinary Time" means uninspiring, but "ordinary" simply means ordered. It is the quiet season of daily growth. This is where the real spiritual work happens.
In today's Gospel (Luke 4:16-30), Jesus reminds us that the Spirit of the Lord is upon us to bring glad tidings to the world. You don't need a massive stage to live out your purpose. God anoints us for the ordinary daily grind—the inbox, the commute, and the routine.

Our Lady was taken body and soul into glory, proving that death does not have the final word and giving us hope in the Lord. The Assumption reminds us where our story is heading, and that Monday's troubles are temporary while our ultimate destination is eternal.
This feast shows us that a holy death is not an end, but a gateway into heaven with God. Anchor your hope in this truth today, trusting the words of the Hail Mary as we ask for our Heavenly Mother's intercession. 🙏✨

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary! We rejoice that the Immaculate Mother of God, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.
While the Mass obligation is lifted this year because the feast falls on a Saturday, it remains a beautiful opportunity to honor our Blessed Mother. Come by our Holy Family Oratory today and spend time in Eucharistic adoration.
Through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, may we be drawn closer to the Sacred Heart of her Son, Jesus Christ.

Today we celebrate the Feast of Saint Clare of Assisi! A spiritual sister and lifelong friend to our patron, Saint Francis of Assisi. Clare left behind a life of wealth to embrace total poverty and radical trust in God. Together, their legacy of prayer and Eucharistic love shines bright in our parish.
When invaders attacked her convent, Clare held up the Blessed Sacrament, and the soldiers fled in fear. We invoke her heavenly patronage upon our perpetual adoration chapel and ministry. Honor Saint Clare today by spending time in Eucharistic adoration at our Holy Family Oratory.
