YOUTH SPONSORED BOTTLED WATER/SNACK COLLECTION
In support of Peace Together's 2026 Peace Walk, FPCGV Youth are sponsoring a bottled water (any size) and handheld snack drive (like packaged nuts, trail mix, Goldfish, etc.). The water and snacks will be distributed during this year's interfaith Peace Walk, being held on Saturday, Nov. 7th from noon to approximately 5 p.m. The walk will encompass a 2.8 mile route beginning at First United Methodist of Colleyville (where opening ceremonies will be held at 1:00 p.m.), proceeding up Pleasant Run and ending at McPherson Park, where food trucks, entertainment, outdoor games, and other fun will ensue (see flyer below).
Our youth, along with youth from various other local places of worship and faith, will collect and share bottled water and snacks in support of this event. They will accept donations of bottled water and snacks in their upstairs Sunday School classroom, the last one down the hall containing the comfy chairs, loveseats, and couches. Thanks for your support of our youth in this community, interfaith, pro-people event!
