🎤 Commons speaker highlight: Danny Rangel!

A friend invited Danny to church during his junior year of high school. That’s when he heard the Gospel, and his life changed forever because of Jesus. He felt the call to ministry at 18 and has served full-time since 2011.

God has allowed Danny to serve in student ministry for 7 years, church planting in New York City for 2 years, and now full-time in Texas as the Young Adults Pastor at local churches. Having come to know Jesus in high school, he is passionate about preaching the Gospel to the next generation.

Danny has spoken at SBTC Collegiate conferences for multiple years now, and he faithfully serves on our Roundup Lead Team.

Don’t miss out on hearing from him in Waco this January 5–7! 🙌

🎤 Commons speaker highlight: Jonathan “JP” Pokluda!

JP is one of the leading voices in reaching the next generation for Christ. Through ministries like the Unite Movement, Becoming Something Podcast, the Porch young adult ministry, and Passion Conferences, God has greatly used him in our nation.

Although raised in church, JP didn’t come to understand the grace of the Gospel until his early twenties. That encounter with Christ ignited a passion to see the next generation radically follow Jesus and be unleashed to change the world.

He is the author of several best-selling books, including Welcome to Adulting, Outdated, Why Do I Do What I Don’t Want to Do?, and his most recent release Your Story Has a Villain (2025), which equips readers to recognize spiritual warfare and stand firm in Christ.

We can’t wait to hear from him this January 5–7 in Waco! 🙌

Cooler weather, lower price 🍂

All month, use code OCTOBER to get 30% off your Commons registration, bringing the price down to $35 per person. That’s possible because of churches across Texas who give generously so college students can be part of gatherings like this.

Grab your roommate, your small group, or your whole college ministry and come spend a few days with us in Waco, January 5–7. We’d love to see you there!

🤫A secret about Commons Collegiate Student Conference | Jan 5-7, 2027 | Waco

Here’s the secret: Commons is marketed as a college conference, but it’s really a Missions Conference for your students! 🌎

Our mainstage, breakouts, and ministry partners are all pointed at one thing: helping your students go on mission in their college town and across the globe. We want them to leave inspired as missionaries, for present and future opportunities.

We are excited to have Jonathan Pokluda, Paul Worcester, and many other ministers, with worship led by the Seth Payne Band.
