For the past decade, Church at the Cross has had the privilege of partnering with Compassion International in Ecuador. What began as a partnership has grown into lasting relationships with children, families, and an incredible community.

As we celebrate 10 years, we’re grateful for all God has done, the lives He’s transformed, and the love that continues to cross borders and bring us together.

Could God be calling you to be part of what’s next at Cross and Crown Church?

In 2022, Church at the Cross sent out James Sercey to plant Cross and Crown in Roanoke. Since then, we’ve seen God faithfully grow this church, and this November, they’re opening a permanent home in downtown Roanoke!

As they enter this next season, we want to invite our CATC family, especially those living in or near Roanoke, to prayerfully consider making Cross and Crown their church home.

Join Pastor James for a free lunch this Sunday, October 25, immediately following the 10:45 gathering in the Student Center. You’ll hear more about the vision for Cross and Crown and how you could be part of what God is doing there.

We’re still not over our very first Women’s Fun Run & 5K! Together, we raised more than $2,800 to benefit our Life Task Force Ministries, helping support organizations that care for vulnerable and marginalized people in our community.

Whether you ran, walked, cheered, gave, or supported from the sidelines, you helped make a difference. Thank you for showing up with such generosity, joy, and encouragement!

VBS Illumination Station: Day Four ✨

And just like that, VBS has come to a close! What an incredible final night together.

We explored the question, “Was Jesus someone who lived a long time ago?” and discovered that Jesus is the proven Son of God! What a joy it’s been to spend this week learning, growing, worshipping, and having fun together.

Now it’s time to celebrate! 🎉 Join us tonight at 5:30 PM for Family Night at Galaxy Skate as we wrap up an amazing week of VBS.
