DFW Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy mourns the passing of Senator Kay Granger, a former Board Member at DFW Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy. In 2019, our Chaplaincy honored her with our Ministry of Presence Award in recognition of her years of faithful service among our Board of Directors. Her kindness, dedication, and care for others left a lasting impact on our Chaplaincy and community. Well done, good and faithful servant. You will be missed!

Excited to announce, after 47 years in Flight Operations, I have retired from my Chief Flight Controller position and will now be working as a Specialist on the American Airlines Culture and Employee Engagement Team. After reflecting on a long career in flight ops, I feel blessed to have worked with so many seasoned professionals who shaped my journey and helped me live out my higher calling to care for others. The airline industry, with all its perks, demands a great deal of our hearts and souls, binding us together in a way few outside the military or our first responders fully understand. In 24-hour flight operations and chaplaincy care, one experiences all of life together, creating deep, lasting bonds. I will dearly miss all my IOC colleagues, and it will always be my home away from home, but I am very excited about this new chapter ahead. After a brief sabbatical, I am now fully focusing on caring for others, so we can better care for our customers on life's journey. Thank you, American Airlines, and everyone who has been part of my story. I thank God and each of you for a lifetime of fond memories and for all those yet to come. FOREVER FORWARD! Fr. Greg
