Sermon 10-25-26
"The Refrain" Judges 17:6
✝️ To our doing what is right in our own eyes, God does what is right in his eyes.

He sends the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to redeem us, to bear the sin, and to make us right as he gives us the righteous garment of Jesus Christ. 🙌

You are not defined by your past. You are defined by the promises of God. 💛

What a Wednesday!
We had another great night of Wednesday Night Alive here at Living Word Lutheran Church– our theme is “Our Journey with God.” Each week we learn about the people from the Bible and their journey with God and how that relates to us today.

Our Bible verse for the month is from Titus 3:5: He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. Talk to your child and see if they can remember the Bible verse for the month.

Music: Look at what’s on the horizon…

The kids on Wednesday nights have been having so much fun learning wonderful Chrisitan songs each week.

We are scheduled to sing one of those songs at the 11:00 service on Sunday November 15th. Thank you for making every effort for your youth to participate. They have been working really hard on the songs and understand we are “preaching” that Sunday with our musical offering!

Faith Alive Youth Christmas Program on December 13th at 10:00 am. All Wednesday Night Alive and Sunday School youth will be participating. Rehearsals are during Wed. Night Alive on Dec 2 and 9. Put it on your calendar-your child will not want to miss out on performing
Future schedule:
Church Picnic following second service- November 1st
PinStack -November 6th.
Caroling -December 5th.
Faith Alive Youth Christmas Program- December 13th at 10:00 am.
Jerusalem Marketplace- December 16th.

Look forward to seeing you next week.

Thursday Morning Devotional from Pastor Eibel for 10-22-26.
God’s Decision About Us: The Gift of Baptism and the Affirmation of Our Baptism | Titus 3 & 1 Peter 3
When a baptism occurs in the life of a congregation, it is always a wonderful event. At the heart of the Rite of Confirmation is the affirmation of our baptism. In our baptism God made His decision about us. It’s when God says, "You’re mine and I’m not letting go."th

"From Shema to Service" 10-18-26
Deuteronomy 6:4 and Joshua 24:15
✝️ We are forgiven for how we fall short every single day of loving the Lord with all of our heart, all of our soul, and all of our might.

Life in the Lord is not a life of self-reliance. It is a radical dependency on the one who has redeemed us. 🙌

From the Shema to serve — it’s all a gift. And on him we rely. Only. 💛
