Faith Friday:

The Danger of Dying Unsaved

There is a sobering reality that Jesus Himself declared: “If you do not believe that I am He, you will indeed die in your sins” (John 8:24). This is not a threat, but a warning full of love. Sin is not just a mistake; it is a terminal disease of the soul. Left untreated, it leads to eternal separation from God. Religion cannot cure it. Good works cannot erase it. Only Jesus—the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world—can forgive and cleanse you.

Except you believe, you will die in your sin. Belief here is not casual agreement; it is surrender. It is trusting that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again. It is confessing Him as Lord and receiving Him as Savior.

You cannot afford to gamble with your soul. Every breath you take is God’s mercy, giving you one more opportunity to repent. Today is the day of salvation; tomorrow is not guaranteed. The cross stands as God’s open invitation. The blood of Jesus still speaks mercy. Heaven is still open for the repentant heart.

Don’t let pride, procrastination, or unbelief keep you bound. There is forgiveness, freedom, and new life in Christ. But you must come. You must believe. Because except you believe, you will die in your sin—but if you believe, you will live forever with Him.
