28:1In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. 2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

1. Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
2. There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
3. Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
4. Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him.
5. Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
6. Then he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was out therein.
7. Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
8. For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
9. Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

A reminder that Wednesday, Christmas Eve, there will be no church service as we observe our Savior's birth in our homes with family and friends.

Just a reminder about Saturday graduations.

Gabriel Ehmann - lunch for everyone at 12 noon and graduation service at one. All are invited.

Phillip Walker graduation at 6:30 and Hobbit food following.

Sunday morning service at 11:00am. Plan to join us and bring a friend.

We will have our regular fellowship meeting one week from this Sunday due to all the eating we are already doing on Saturday.

Also, we will be doing the Police bags following our fellowship dinner on the 8th. You can bring your contributions for the bags this week and next.
