My last post yesterday kicked hornets nest. I could have simply deleted it and moved on, but that would not be me. It was about the protester who threatened to kill and ICE officer, his wife and his children. Most of the responses to my harsh words were met with agreement, but all were not. I am going to quote part of the words that were in disagreement, but I am not going to mention a name as that would be a type of doxxing in itself. I use them only as a point of reasoning.
"30 years? You think a man deserves losing 30 years of his life for standing up for what he believes in? Whether it’s right or wrong, or if you agree or disagree.
Think about how long 30 years is, you only get one life.
If that man truly believes the officer is out to harm him & his family, he deserves to feel retaliatory." Then addressing my words, "Especially, for someone who posts bible verses on his wall; the hell."
So 30 years is a long time. So also is eternity. Throughout the Scriptures eternal punishment is part of Free Choice. The concept is upheld in the Old Testament and even in the words of Jesus himself. There will be punishment fare exceeding, "30 years," "for standing up for what he believes in? Whether it's right or wrong, or if you agree or disagree." And yes I do quote the Scriptures and "posts bible verses on his wall; the hell."
If my words overreached in the sight of God I will stand in judgement for them. If I have sinned beyond redemption in Divine Law, and should I not find true remorse, my punishment will likely be swift and far exceeding 30 years. That is why I hold myself to that understanding. That is also why I hold others to the same standard of righteous consideration in action.
So let me post a few words form the Bible on my "wall; the Hell."
Matthew 25:
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Mark 3:
29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
Revelation 14:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
As I work in my life to avoid this "damnation," I also work hard to help others find avoidance of the same. Should the punishment of such a sin as threatening to kill a man and his family go unpunished lacking his remorse, we as a people violate the Law of God, as well as the Law of Man. From the words of King Solomon, Proverbs 13:24 "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes," to Prophecy spoken by John of Patmos concerning "the lake of fire and the second death," and all the betwixt warnings, we are not exempted from eternal damnation. Solomon said it, Moses heard it from God himself and Jesus said "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill."
So I stand on the words I posted last evening. I stand on demanding punishment under Man's Law to avoid punishment under God's Law.
In closing and hopefully with righteousness in my heart, I post the words of Jesus, and I do my best to keep away from unrighteousness indignations, avoiding contempt and disgust. Something that is not as easily done as it is said.
Matthew 15:19: 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
1 John 3:15: 15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
Matthew 5:21-22: 21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. (RACA, a derogatory Aramaic term used to insult someone's intelligence)
I will point out "without a cause," and Pray that my cause for Anger is worthy of my Faith and acceptable in the sight of God. A very fine line to walk.
May your day be Blessed and may your Anger hold up in the dignity of your Faith. I Pray the same for my Anger, as I am indeed, Angry.
