Happy Belated Happy Labor Day!

As we give thanks for the gift of work and all who labor faithfully, we’re reminded of Colossians 3:23:
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.

Beginning with our next Second Sunday in-person worship service, September 13, we will gather at 1:30 PM and celebrate Holy Communion.

September 13 is also the second day of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. We extend our warmest wishes to our Jewish friends and neighbors as they observe this holy season. May it be a time of reflection, renewal, and blessing.

As a congregation, we are mindful that the church is always being called to listen for where the Holy Spirit is leading us and to discern how we can best serve God and one another in each new season.

As Paul said: Forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.— Philippians 3:13–14

Changing our Second Sunday worship time is a small change, but it is part of our desire to remain open to new possibilities for ministry, fellowship, and worship. Please join us, all are welcome.

Happy Belated 4th of July!

Even though the fireworks have ended, we remain deeply grateful for the freedom we share.

We are especially thankful for the ultimate freedom we find in Christ. As we reflect on our nation and our faith, we hold onto the truth in Galatians 5:1: It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

We have exciting news! Beginning this July, Grants First Presbyterian Church will gather for in-person worship on the Second Sunday of every month.

We invite neighbors, friends, visitors, and longtime members to come worship with us as we gather around God's Word and celebrate Holy Communion.

Whether you've been away from church for a while, are searching for a church home, or simply long to worship with fellow believers, there is a place for you here.

Holy Communion will be celebrated during our Second Sunday in-person worship service each month, and all who trust in Jesus Christ are welcome at the Lord's Table.
