We offer many thanks to all those who worked so hard cooking, cleaning, researching and decorating for our 200th celebration! And we thank all those who attended and helped us celebrate the work and faith of our predecessors who rolled an actual building approximately 1.4 miles down the hill and plopped it on top of a new town hall with 1826 technology!! We started with beautiful sunny fall weather, marched the route through some snow flurries and arrived at our current site to more beautiful sunshine. Many treats were enjoyed while history was shared and new friends made. We topped off the day with a Blessing of the Badges to say thank you to the police, fire and EMS personnel who protect us every day. We are blessed to be a part of such an amazing community. We love you and look forward to our next opportunity to serve. God Bless!

So sorry no pancake breakfast photos and updates. A bit of a cyber snafu, but a fabulous morning. Many thanks to all the amazing volunteers, Liz Borger for her organization and leadership and our fantastic community!! We were able to make generous donations to this year’s missions of the food pantry and Love Recovery. We are truly blessed to be perched here in the middle of this town, surrounded by and loved by such great people!! We love you all and always hold you in prayer. ❤️✝️🥞🇺🇸🙏

** Attention**
Important Meeting coming up!
As you may or may not know, the Visioning Board has been meeting and working with the DS and a team of volunteers from other churches to study GUMC, past, present and future. There will be a meeting on Sunday, April 26th at 4:00 PM to present the findings and our options moving forward. There will be a time to hear about the work of the team and the recommendations for what we do next. This has been a lengthy and sometimes emotional course, but we have learned much and are feeling very positive about what we are doing now and our ongoing presence in this community and those surrounding us. Because this involves the structure of the church, there will be a vote and we would love any and all input in these decisions. We hope you can attend!
