The VFBC Family shares our heartfelt condolences with Sister Kendra Pigler & Family (daughter of Trustee Lauminna Nivens) in the loss of her beloved grandmother Mrs. Muriel Hatcher Pigler. Wishing you and your family peace to bring comfort and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. She was blessed with 95 years of life. Our prayers are with you!

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held June 1st @10:30am at The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church 720 Telfair Street, Augusta, GA.

Muriel Rahn Hatcher Pigler 95, widow of LTC Ret. James Jimmy Edward Pigler, Sr. , passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Kennesaw, GA. Memorial Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, June 1 at 1030 AM, at The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 720 Telfair St., Augusta, GA.

🌅 Our Next Chapter Achievers: CJ Richardson, London Robinson & Tremel Nipper are our High School seniors launching into their God-given futures at Averett University & Kennesaw State! RJ Adams graduated from the Wil Lou Gray School.

💼 Our Higher Ed Achiever: Kaiya Wright our Fayetteville State University graduate stepping into her next journey of the Air Force.

📖 Our Shepherd: Pastor Nipper will be conferred with his Doctorate of Ministry officially June 28!
