HOW CAN WE PRAY FOR YOU?

One of the simplest things we can do is also one of the most powerful—we can pray.

Sometimes we carry needs, burdens, questions, and concerns without ever bringing them before the Lord. But Scripture continually reminds us that God invites His people to come to Him, to ask, to seek, and to pray.

Every Wednesday at 6 P.M., we gather in the downstairs classroom for corporate prayer. It’s a time to come together as the body of Christ, pray for one another, pray for our church and community, and seek God’s direction together.

If you can’t join us but there is something we can pray with you about, leave your prayer request in the comments or send us a message. We’ll gather the requests before prayer time and make sure they are prayed over.

Don’t underestimate what God can do when His people pray.

Wednesdays are a great opportunity for our church family to come together, grow in God’s Word, pray for one another, and spend time in fellowship.

All of our Wednesday studies are now in full swing, and there are several ways for every age to be involved:

• Women’s Study — 10 A.M.
• Corporate Prayer — 6 P.M.
• Women’s Bible Study — 6 P.M.
• Men’s Bible Study — 6 P.M.
• Family Bible Study — 6:30 P.M.
• Youth Bible Study — 6:30 P.M.
• Children’s Christmas Play Practice — 6:30 P.M.

Whether you’re coming to study, pray, serve, or bring your children to practice, Wednesday is simply another opportunity for us to be together as the body of Christ.

We’d love for you to join us as we continue seeking the Lord, growing in His Word, and encouraging one another along the way.

Men need other men in their lives who will pray with them , encourage them, and challenge them to grow. When we open God’s Word together and honestly share what we’re facing, we help sharpen one another. As we put what we learn into practice, we become better husbands, better fathers, and better equipped to minister to the people God places around us.

After our summer break, our men’s Bible study starts back this Wednesday at 6 p.m. Come join us as we seek the Lord and learn together. There’s a place for you at the table.

Every shoebox is an opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ with a child. As we prepare for our Bikers with Boxes collection this Sunday, October 11, let’s remember how God can use these simple gifts—even in some of the hardest places to reach.

As you finish packing, take a moment to pray for the churches that will distribute the boxes, the children who will receive them, and their families. Pray that these gifts will open doors for the Gospel and that entire communities will be changed by the love of Christ.

Please bring your packed Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes to the table in the lobby this Sunday. Thank you for being part of sharing His love, one shoebox at a time.

Jesus still invites us to come.

Charles Spurgeon once said, “The church must first prove its love by changing its immediate community.” That’s a good reminder that loving our neighbors often begins with simple, practical acts of generosity, and our food drive for Yokefellow Ministries is one more opportunity to do just that.

As you’re shopping over the next few weeks, consider picking up an extra pantry item or two—things like spaghetti sauce, dry pasta, dry beans, macaroni, Hamburger Helper, and other shelf-stable foods. You can place your donations in the collection carts around the church through October 25.

It may feel like a small thing, but when we each give a little, it adds up quickly. Let’s continue to be generous, love our neighbors well, and help make sure families in Caldwell County have food on the table.
