Our ministry staff and their families just wrapped up a couple days together at Fort Caswell. We spent time praying, planning, dreaming, and talking about the vision and future of Dudley Shoals.

We’re thankful for this team and excited about where God is leading our church. There’s a lot to look forward to!!

Growth Groups start back THIS Sunday! There are so many great options this semester, and we really believe there’s something for everybody.

Find a group that fits and jump in! Growth Groups are just a great way to get to know people and grow in your faith outside of Sunday morning rhythms. Sometimes you just have to show up and see what God does with it.

Israel stood at the Jordan River with no way across. They had followed God all the way there, yet there was still a river in front of them.
Sometimes following God doesn’t mean He leads us around the obstacle. Sometimes He leads us right up to something only He can get us through.
The Israelites didn’t get a map. They got God’s presence.
And when the priests stepped into the water, their feet got wet before the water moved.
Faith isn’t knowing exactly what God is doing. Faith is trusting God when we don’t.
You may be facing something you’ve never faced before. You may not know the way forward. But remember:
The situation may be new to you, but it isn’t new to God.
Watch where He’s going. Stay close to Him. Trust His Word. And take the next step of obedience.
Because the water doesn’t have to move before you trust the One who told you to step.
“You have not passed this way before.” - Joshua 3:4

Good Morning Church Family! We will be having service in the sanctuary instead of at the river due to rain.

We invite you to join us this Sunday for our end of summer River Service!
This service is held outdoors down at our picnic shelter and ends with baptisms in the river, just as Christians have done for thousands of years! It's a truly special way to worship the Lord and by having it outdoors, we aren't limited to the number of chairs in our sanctuary or the fire capacity of four walls. That just means we can share it with as many people as we want to!
So please join us at 10AM this Sunday, September the 6th and be sure to bring a lawn chair! DSBC family, you have permission to invite as many people as you can!
