118 years of God’s faithfulness ⛪️

Today at Concord Baptist Church, we celebrated Homecoming by taking a little walk through the ages. From bonnets and old-fashioned Sunday best to all the decades that followed. Over the years the styles may have changed—but one thing never has: God is still first, His Word is still true, and Jesus is still the reason we gather.

For 118 years, generations have walked through these doors to worship, serve, pray, grow, and share the Gospel. What a blessing to look back with gratitude and look ahead with faith, knowing the same God who was faithful then is faithful today.

118 years strong—and still standing on the promises of God! ❤️ Also, a big thank you to The Bluegrass Sisters for leading us in worship 🙌🏼

What an incredible day at Soles of Hope! Today we partnered with NC Baptist and Serve NC as we sought to serve our community. We welcomed 625 people today, providing brand new shoes to students heading back to school this fall. We also gave out more than 175 boxes of groceries and served breakfast to everyone who came through. It took all hands on deck with our 60-plus volunteers to make it happen, and we’re so grateful for each of them. For 15 years now, this ministry has been lighting up kids’ faces with the gift of new shoes, and today was no exception. Swipe through to see the smiles for yourself!

This Sunday we turn to Psalms 2 where we see a reoccurring theme throughout the Psalms for the first time. The Psalmist says that God is our refuge. We can runs to God at anytime with anything and take refuge in Him. Make plans to join us for worship this Sunday, August 9th at 10 am.
