The kindergarteners finished up their last animal section of dinosaurs. What better way to learn about dinosaurs than to become paleontologist themselves.

For the past month, the kindergarteners have learned about different kinds of animals; amphibians, reptiles, birds, insects, fish, and mammals. We were graciously blessed with live chicks for the birds section and a live bunny for the mammals section. The class had fun with more science experiments. They worked in groups to build their own beaver dams and experienced how polar bears stay warm with fur and blubber.

Before spring break the kindergarten class along with their 5/6 reading buddies had a fun filled STEAM project of making an Easter egg parachute that held and landing Easter peeps.
