God of power and mercy, you destroy war and put down earthly pride.
Banish violence from our midst and wipe away our tears, that we may all deserve to be called your sons and daughters.
Keep in your mercy those men and women who have died in the cause of freedom and bring them safely into your kingdom of justice and peace.

🙏✨ Last night, we had the joy of celebrating the incredible men and women who pour their hearts into teaching the faith week after week — our amazing catechists!

"Catechesis is a pillar of faith education and we need good catechists! Thank you for your service to the Church." — Pope Francis

The evening was filled with delicious food (thank you to the Morales family), genuine fellowship, and more laughter than any of us expected. And if you've never done Painting with a Twist with your priest... well, let's just say — 10/10, do not skip. 🎨😂

These are the people who keep the memory of God alive in the hearts of our children and families. Tonight was just a small way of saying: we see you, we love you, and we are so grateful for you. 💛
