Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never something to take lightly. It has been protected, defended, and paid for by men and women who laid down their lives for others. As we honor them this Memorial Day, we also pray for the families who still carry that loss, for our nation, and for hearts that never forget the cost of freedom.
