In many churches, including the United Methodist Church, January 6 is the day of Epiphany.
Epiphany celebrates the manifestation of the divine nature of Christ to the Gentiles as represented by the Magi.
This is why I have a little fun with the Magi in my video.
But, it seems, the sentiments of contemporary tradition overwhelms liturgical purity. And so, the Magi join the scene!
