It’s a beautiful truth to know that Jesus sees every part of who we are, even the things we think are the worst parts, and He still wants nothing more than to be in a relationship with us. He wants that so much He was willing to die for it. That is such, such good news.

So often we think, “Well, God is God, if these are my circumstances, this must be His will” but that is not the truth. Jesus said He gave US authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and all works of the Enemy. When we believe what the Word says, and act like it, then the Holy Spirit moves in power in our lives.

Even when it feels like our circumstances change for the worse, God’s promises stay the same. It’s okay to feel discouraged. But don’t choose to stay discouraged. Turn to The Word. Because all His promises are “yes, and amen” and always will be. Share this with someone who needs to hear that today.
