Thank you for coming together to celebrate communion with us on this beautiful summer morning!

Today, we reflected on Jesus' question: "Who do YOU say that I am?" We might all approach that question from different places, but we are united in the truth of who He is. Our faith lives get to be expressed in uniquely beautiful ways, yet we can all gather together as one body in worship.

We don't have to be identical to be united.
Truly, we speak the name of Jesus together.

Listen to the sermon through the OneChurch app or watch the whole service on our HarborLifeGV YouTube page.

"Who Do You Say That I Am?"
Jesus asked that of his apostles back in those days, and that's a question we're still wrestling with 2,000 years later.
Join us tomorrow at 10:00am as Pastor Lisa explores the question and it's responses, and what that means for our everyday lives.

Harbor Kids available for littles ages birth through 5th grade.
Bring your thermos, coffee is always on the house.

How many times just this week have we cycled through all three of these stories?

Maybe our faith is strong like Bartimaeus in the morning, ready to throw off our cloak and pursue Jesus.

But by the afternoon, we catch ourselves being transactional like James and John, looking for a quick shortcut to comfort.

And by evening? We find ourselves right back at the old pools, looking for life and healing in all the wrong places.

Spiritual growth isn't a straight line. itโ€™s a daily decision to stop aiming in the wrong direction.
The good news for us is, God's grace isn't a formula... it's available and He meets us exactly where we are.

Thank you for joining us (whether in person or in spirit) on this very rainy holiday Sunday! ๐ŸŒง๏ธ The dark clouds made our morning service feel almost like an evening service.

As we continued our series, "Questions God Asks," we were challenged to look at the motivations behind the three responses to "Do you want to be made well?" Are we looking for the right kind of wellness, or looking for it from the right source?

Saying "yes" to the hard work of spiritual wholeness can be terrifying. But we aren't meant to do it in isolation. We are called to be a community that walks alongside one another, carries each other's burdens, and reminds each other of God's unmerited grace when the road gets heavy. ๐Ÿ™Œ

"Do you want to be made well?"
It seems almost an unfair question to ask a person afflicted with debilitating medical circumstances... and yet Jesus asked it anyways. Join us tomorrow as we look into the intent behind that question, and how it still applies to us today.

***FAMILY WORSHIP TOMORROW AT 10:00 AM***
Nursery is still available but no walkout worship for Harbor Kids.

For our mid-week reflection on Sunday's service, we look at the very beginning of the service, at the passage from Hebrews used as our Call To Worship.

May we remember in all of life's chaos and tribulations that everyone we meet are reflections of God's image. Those we like, those we don't... those who like us and those who make our lives tough... we're all called to reflect God's love onto all of those people and be known as different through our compassion and care.

Hi ladies! ๐Ÿ’›

Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts for Mandy and Lisa, we will be canceling Cultivate tomorrow night (Tuesday, May 19).

Thank you for joining us this season as we journeyed through Psalms together. Weโ€™re so grateful for the time, conversations, and community weโ€™ve shared with each of you. ๐Ÿ’›

Thank you for joining us today! We took a moment to reflect on and pray over our graduating high school seniors, thanking God for watching over their lives and bringing them to this milestone. As they get ready to step out into a new season, the scriptures we looked at gave all of us a similar challenge: who will God send to share who He is?

The answer: Us.

Every single person you cross paths with carries a reflection of the Creator. When we soften our hearts, wrestle with the hard truths, and step out to see the people the rest of the world ignores, we make His love undeniable.

The challenge, from high school seniors to, well, seniors, is this: step forward and be a blessing.
