Coming up this week: Freedom From the Philistines (1 Samuel 7)

From Ruth to Samuel, we have learned how God sees people's needs and hears their cries for help. God provided for Ruth. He called Samuel. And last week, we learned how God showed His power as the one true God. This week, we will learn more about Samuel and how God used him to help the Israelites turn away from false gods and follow God's plan.

Join us on Sunday and Wednesday as we continue our journey through the Bible.

Coming up this week: The Ark Was Captured (1 Samuel 4-6)

Over the past few weeks, we have seen how God cared for His people and met their needs. God was with Ruth and provided a family redeemer for her. Last week, we learned how God heard Hannah's prayers and gave her a son named Samuel. Samuel became a prophet for Israel and spoke God's words to the people. This week, we will see how God's people misused the Ark, but God was faithful to display His power so the Ark would be returned to Israel.

Join us as we continue our journey through the Bible.

Come celebrate on Wednesday night, from 5:30-7:30. There will be pizza, water activities, and more! Bring a friend, a towel, and be ready to have a blast!

Coming up this week: Samuel Was Born and Called (1Samuel 1-3)

Last week, we learned how God provided a family redeemer for Ruth. We saw how God provided Boaz to help Ruth in her time of need. And we learned how God had a plan for Ruth's family to one day bring the Savior, Jesus, into the world. This week, we will learn how God heard Hannah and how He responded to her prayers by giving her a son named Samuel.

Join us this week as we continue our journey through the Bible.
