Good morning church family. Southside Baptist is hosting another Beast Feast on Friday, Sept. 11th at 6 pm. Those that were able to go last year had such a wonderful fellowship that we will again join them this year. I need to get an accurate headcount of all the men who can go this year by Sunday so I can reserves our tables for this years event. Hello everyone. Looking forward to this Sunday. Don't forget this Sunday is 5th Sunday Dinner so all you good cooks out there, bring those delicious side dishes and desserts. We will also have Friars Chicken, fried catfish and Mrs. Trudy's fried wild caught Alaskan halibut on the menu. We will also be having a short special called business meeting for the purpose of voting on the open board of trustee positions. Through the moving on and deaths of the last couple of years, we are down to just one trustee and need 3 to 5 per the bylaws, so this must be taken care of immediately. Thanks, Pastor David.

As we started this new week this morning, I just want to praise our Lord for the 4 salvations we had during VBS this week. Liam, Willow, Abbey, and Peyton all asked Jesus in their hearts. Sister Leanna will post more pictures as soon as she gets caught up. Also, after the morning worship service, 2 young men accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, Bro. Jim Browns grandson Wyatt Kinney, and Wyatts longtime friend Eian Shorr. Wow, 6 in a weeks' time, God is so good! Trudy and I covet your prayers on our trip to Alaska and look forward to these baptisms when we get back. We love all of you and look forward to our return to be back with y'all. August 5-7 @ 530-8 and Saturday August 8 @ 10am for a water slide and VBS graduation. All children participating will receive a backpack 🎒 and school supplies ✏️ 📜🖍️
