‼️ FALL SMALL GROUP ‼️

Join us as we read The Making of Biblical Womanhood, by Dr. Beth Allison Barr. Drawing on scriptural and historical examples, this book re-examines long-held ideas about the roles of women in Christianity. Dr. Barr argues that the contemporary evangelical narrative of male headship and female submission is actually a recent, modern invention and ultimately unbiblical. We will read one chapter per week and discuss both the theological content as well as our own experiences with women and as women in the Church. Come prepared with questions about specific passages and ideas from the text. This group is open to all ages and genders.
