Yesterday we looked at Elijah’s question in 1 Kings 18:
“How long will you waver between two opinions?”
Israel wanted the Lord and Baal. But divided trust is not faithfulness.
Our rival gods cannot answer. The Lord has.
Now we must answer: If the Lord is God, will we trust him enough to follow him?

When you are terrified of losing control you just hold tighter.

Whether it is a marriage or a political race or a church making panic decisions, fear ruins everything it touches. We start excusing things we know are wrong just to hold on.

It is time to stop reacting out of survival mode and put our fears in God's hands.
