Cracks: A Strong Start Isn't Enough | 1 Kings 1–2
Most collapses don't happen overnight.
A bridge collapses because of cracks that were ignored. A kingdom collapses because of hearts that drifted. A life collapses because small compromises were never addressed.
As we began our new series through 1 & 2 Kings, we discovered that before Israel's kingdom divided, God exposed four hearts:
• Adonijah revealed ambition.
• Nathan revealed courage.
• David revealed urgency.
• Solomon revealed potential.
The lesson?
God often reveals the crack before He allows the collapse.
What crack might God be exposing in your life today?
🔨 Ambition?
🔨 Fear?
🔨 Spiritual drift?
🔨 Compromise?
Don't just identify it—respond to it.
Strong starts inspire people. Faithful endurance honors God.

Remember, leaders aren’t the ultimate—God is. 🌟 David was chosen and raised up by God, not because of his strength or status, but because God saw him. Authority is a gift from Him, not a source of power for us. Let’s keep our eyes on the true King and remember: our hope is rooted in Him, not in human leaders. ✝️🙌

Human leaders aren’t our saviors — only God’s promises stand forever. From Saul to David, history shows us that true stability comes from trusting in God's plan, not human strength. Dive into 2 Samuel 7 and discover the everlasting promise that points us to the real King. 🙏✨

This past Sunday at Good News Baptist Church, we looked at the ending of Acts and were reminded of a powerful truth:
The story was never supposed to stop with Paul.
Even under house arrest, Paul kept preaching Christ “with all boldness and without hindrance.” (Acts 28:31)
The Gospel reached us because faithful believers before us prayed, served, sacrificed, endured hardship, and refused to let the mission stop with them.
Now it’s our turn.
May we not become passive, distracted, or silent in a world that desperately needs the hope of Christ. Future ministry is built by present faithfulness.
The authority of Christ is still advancing. The Gospel still saves. And the story is not over.

Sometimes we don’t fully turn away from faith — we just downgrade it. Trading trust in the unseen for control we can hold. Moving God from King to advisor, from ruler to symbol. But true security isn’t in what we can see or manage — it’s in surrendering to faith. Are we risking everything for the illusion of control? ✨

When we cling to control—money, status, or security—we risk losing what truly matters: peace, joy, and freedom. But here’s the hope—God’s story isn’t over. He’s setting the stage for a King who never fails, a King who gives rather than takes. Trust in the lasting authority of God's perfect plan. 🌟👑
