Meet our Women’s Retreat speaker:

Valerie is wife to Pastor Nate Johnson of Roseau Evangelical Covenant Church and mother to three kids. She and her family moved to Roseau in 2022 after several years of ministry in Scotland and have fully embraced rural life, complete with a garden and chickens. She finished her Seminary degree in 2013 and while her primary focus is on family and church life, she has a desire to see women experience the love of God, the joy of Jesus, and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in life’s real battles and victories.

This is a still frame of a video from Highlanders last summer. Campers worshipping on the beach in the mornings - led by other campers. If you have a guitar laying around that could use a new home, we would love to have more here at camp for campers to learn how to play and to play together. We can replace strings, etc. and get them in good working order. Please reach out if you have one to donate and we’ll find a way to get it here.

We still have room in our Boys LIT week! June 15-19. Students entering grades 10-12 have a chance for leadership development, working on a project to improve camp, and a lot of fun. This group of guys from last year fixed our swinging log low ropes element and helped finish remodeling the old speakers cabin into a youth cabin. Find more info and apply on our website.

Sunday (May 3) is the last day to register for Work Weekend. We would love to have more people helping. This important day of service helps prepare camp for the 2,000 people that will come throughout this summer. We have projects for everyone. NEWS! College and Career Retreat is back for 2026! If you are in the “post high school - 20s” age range, join us July 24-26 for a weekend of connection, worship, and fun by the lake.
