In a "we bare it all" society, it is vital to remember that we are to clothe ourselves modestly. As the summer heat goes up, more and more of public dressing comes down. We are being expose to public nudity right before our very eyes; and there is no shame. Many in our day are being sucked in and molded by cultural trends. These trends of exposing various parts of the body to public view has made its way even into the churches. O, dear people, these things ought not to be! The low cut shirts, the skimpy jeans, the spaghetti string tops, the mini skirts, the little-to-nothing shorts, the no-shirt-wearing of men, all of these are paraded in our streets unashamedly. We are tempted and given into moral perversion daily. It is because we have lost sight of the fact that we are sinners, and that God is absolutely holy. May God renew our minds to think biblically in regards to dressing modestly.
