In June we have four Sundays focused on the book of Exodus! Stories include how Moses found himself having to flee Egypt as a murderer, the first time we meet the so-called Ten Commandments (is it eleven?), a covenant-making moment for the twelve tribes of Israel, and the story of what happened when Moses finally came down from the mountain.

The next three weeks in worship include a focus on the Holy Spirit and a couple of guest preachers!

You will not want your children to miss all the fun and Christian learning we are going to have this summer at Aldersgate United Methodist Church’s VBS. This year’s theme is SNOWBALL MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE: Find Your Strength in God, based on Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

Children from 4 years of age through those entering sixth grade are welcome to join us, as we use this verse and other Bible stories to learn to find strength in God! We will also learn songs, play games, make crafts, and have snacks, all assisting in delving into the timeless faith stories from the Old and New Testaments. Our staff is hard at work planning and are ready to help your children experience God’s goodness!
