"If one part suffers, every part suffers with it." (1 Corinthians 12:26) We are one body in Christ—and Nepal needs us now.

Catastrophic flooding in Nepal has left thousands without homes, without a sense of safety, and many with lost or injured loved ones. Over 4,000 people are still missing. Nearly 70 schools are damaged, leaving 1,900+ children without a place to learn. Roads and bridges are gone — cutting off entire communities from help.

Our trusted partners on the ground are reaching the hardest-hit families first— including communities that are completely cut off. With your support, we hope to bring relief to 500 people in these communities.

Immediate needs include: food, clean water, hygiene supplies, kitchen tools, clothing 💦

We're recruiting for our next multigenerational mission trip! This time we're visting: Jamaica.

Our partners at the Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf use a Christ-centered approach that prioritizes bringing the gospel to the Deaf population in Jamaica.

During this trip, you'll come alongside CCCD and learn firsthand how they serve and empower the Deaf community through:
✅ Language accessibility
✅ Job training
✅ Educational resources

Trip leader RCA missionary Grace Newhouse will shape this trip with meaningful dialogue, personal reflection, and exploration across CCCD's campuses. You'll also receive cultural and spiritual preparation before departure, along with practical guidance on how to carry what you learn back home with you.

This is a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages and life stages to grow in faith, build community, and serve alongside a ministry that's making a real difference.

Silas has a heart for mission. After spending a gap year serving alongside RCA missionary Pastor Blaine Newhouse at the English Language Congregation - NEC, Bahrain, Silas entered seminary. For the summer, he returned to cover Pastor Blaine's home assignment and be a steady leadership presence for the congregation.

This is his story told by RCA Global Mission director of mission in Asia and Church Engagement, Rev. Stephanie Soderstrom.

When Hurricane Melissa struck Jamaica last fall, the Montego Bay Campus of our partners at Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf was devastated. Buildings were damaged, the security wall was destroyed, and students lost both their school and home.

But the community rallied—and so did you. Through prayers and generous gifts, you helped provide emergency supplies, feed the community, rebuild the security wall, and begin the long work of rebuilding.

The rebuilding continues, and hope is rising. Thank you for caring, praying, and showing up for CCCD. 🙏

For 30 years, Dr. Thoms practiced medicine in Oman, where RCA hospitals were the only civilian hospitals in the country before the oil was discovered. He became known as Arabia’s first eye surgeon, while Beth trained lab technicians, managed hospital operations, taught, and served as a religious educator.

Today, that legacy of healing and service by the RCA medical mission is still being honored in Oman. The country’s Ministry of Information recently produced this documentary, Dakhtar Thoms (“Dr. Thoms”), honoring his life and legacy.

You may see some familiar faces in the film, such as that of RCA missionary Justin Meyers, who is the current director of the Al Amana Centre in Oman.

Earlier today, a mudslide on the Himalayan border of Nepal and China's Tibet triggered a catastrophic flash flood in Nepal. Communities have been swept away and nearly 100 causalities have been reported with many hundreds more missing.

Join us in praying for our friends in Nepal. We have heard from our partners there, who are safe, but we will share updates as we learn more. Pray for the communities impacted and the families of those who have lost loved ones. Pray for the responders who show up in the aftermath.

James' life changed the day he accepted Christ into his life. But his story wasn't always headed in that direction. James is a member of the Pokot, a Southern Nilotic tribe, who live in West Pokot, Kenya. Thanks to your generosity, people like James are experiencing new life in Christ through Church and Community Development Practices.
