If you cook it, they will come!! We started cooking our hot dogs tonight with only a couple of people there and boy did they start lining up! 240 hot dogs later, we had some very happy friends downtown tonight! We had a very special friend help us tonight as well! Father Steve, our new associate pastor at our parish, SJV, came to help and he walked up and down and visited with our friends and prayed with a few too! Thank you so much, Father Steve! We loved having you!
(Sorry, I was so busy that I didn't get a photo of the line when it was a block long!)

So this afternoon I was driving down Michigan Street. On the corner of Michigan and Fuller I noticed a young pregnant lady holding a homeless and pregnant sign. I stopped at Biggby and asked her if she's hungry. We went into biggby and she got some food and latte as I got a latte. Started talking her name is Brea she is 20 years old, 5 months pregnant and lives in a tent off Market. We talked for a bit. Towards the end I asked her how much she made. She made 9.00 and an apple. I have her 80.00 in cash and she started to cry. So if you are ever on this corner and see a young pregnant lady. Please help her. She has a big heart. Also keep her in your prayers.

God bless
Mark O.
