Hosanna will be offering live-streaming of the memorial service of Silas Kulkani, husband of Julie Bringman. The service will be this Sunday, April 12, at 2:30 pm. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church; Silver Spring, Maryland. It just seems to be appropriate to gather together at Hosanna where the Bringman family served us for 15 years from 1990-2005. Julie and Katie enjoyed their Grand Rapids/Otsego experiences and made many friends. Silas's massive heart attack/death at 46 really is hard to understand but Julie has shared with us the message that she sent her church: St. Luke's Lutheran Church and Student Center in College Park, Maryland. She also shared it with Hosanna. If you would like to read her thoughts, I will send it to you but I do not feel comfortable in posting it here. Julie has her father's innate ability to explain our losses and how God wants us to handle what happens in our lives. Love others and support each other......

Tomorrow is Fourth Tuesday. The amazing Joe Potter is cooking for it and it will be awesome! The menu will be Pork Roast with Mashed Potatoes, Corn Casserole, bread and desserts! You all know that when Joe Potter cooks tv chefs weep. As always, we serve at 5 so come on in anytime before that to hang out, and we'll have a feast at 5 O'clock. As Jimmy Buffet and Alan Jackson said, "It's Five O'clock Somewhere!" I can't wait.

Holy week is coming right up. Palm Sunday is next Sunday, Mar 29. Maundy Thursday follows on Apr 2 at 7 pm, Good Friday on Apr 3 also at 7 pm and the glory of the resurrection on Easter Sunday on Apr 5. Christ is Risen! CHRIST IS RISEN INDEED!!!
