Today’s Michigan Legislative Day of Advocacy was an inspiring reminder of the power of leadership, service, and using our voices to create change. 💙✨ Members of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. from across the state gathered for a meaningful day of advocacy, education, and connection while engaging in conversations surrounding issues impacting our children, families, and communities.

Special thank you to Regional Member-At-Large Jennifer McCormick-Bridgewater, Lead Teen Advisor Tracey Brame, and Legislative Chair Tiesha Hogue for helping make the day such a meaningful experience for the teens!

🎓✨ College Decision Day 2026 ✨🎓
Today we proudly celebrate our amazing seniors as they take the next step toward their bright futures!
💙 Christian Boyce has decided to attend New York University, where he plans to double major in Philosophy and Jazz Studies, with minors in Spanish and Linguistics.
🩷 Kimani Brame plans to attend Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, pursuing her passion in media and storytelling.
🩷 Kennedy Freeman has officially chosen to attend Western Michigan University, where she will double major in Dance and Business Administration. She plans to become a professional choreographer and open her own dance studio.

Our Group 1 Jack and Jills (Preschool & Kindergarten) had a nice time during their Feelings & Friends activity with Sam Jones, LPC! 💛 , owner of The Wisdom Center,

This interactive social-emotional learning experience helped our children explore emotions through play, role-play, and connection. They practiced naming and expressing their feelings and listening to others with empathy.
From learning calming techniques like deep breathing and stretching to gaining insight into what it means to be a therapist, our young leaders walked away with tools to better understand themselves and others. 🧠✨
