Science and Religion Forum (SCAR) is a student-led organization founded and supported by the Templeton Foundation, which intends to cultivate members of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), such as Calvin College, to be places of academic inquiry regarding thinking critically about the ramifications of the interactions between Science and Religion. SCAR strives to equip and

form students to faithfully engage as members of the Church with questions surrounding the issue of Science and Religion within today’s post-modern context. What this entails falls under three main categories: faith-formative discussion groups regarding the topic, special events covering various topics on the intersection of Science and Religion, and resources for student in areas of academic inquiry involved with this topic.
