Manos de Jesus Mission Trips - Atlanta Groups Our group takes mission trips throughout the summer and fall to serve widows, orphans and those in need in the Chichicastenango, Guatemala area.

We serve with a ministry called Manos de Jesus (Pray America), www.prayamerica.org This page reflects mission trips to Manos de Jesus in Chichicastenango, Guatemala, taken by groups of families from the Northlake/Decatur area of Atlanta, and groups from Atlanta-based organizations (Chick-fil-A, Home Depot). On these trips, we build houses for widow families, participate in feeding programs for underprivileged indigenous kids and otherwise serve those in Chichi who are in need.

Grace. Humility. Service. Hospitality. Loyal. Resilient. Flexible. Passionate. Loving. Caring. Giving. These are just a few words expressed last week about the amazing Koetsiers - as some of us were able to thank and honor them for their years of service as missionaries with the wonderful Manos de Jesus ministry. We could not be more grateful for them. Now back in Michigan, they always will be this word, to us: Friends.
