With just three lead pastors in its first 33 years, Forest Hills Presbyterian Church has enjoyed the stability necessary to create strong ministries for member and community needs. For the youngest, an attractive and safe nursery is available during worship and most other activities. Parents of threes, fours and fives can take advantage of the fully NAEYC-accredited Pre-School as well as the churc

h’s K-5 ministries, led by a full time Children’s Ministry Director. Special events for this age include movie nights, the Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School and Trunk-or-Treat. Middle and High School Youth are each served—and are taught to serve—in their own youth ministries, led by our full time Director of Youth Ministries and congregational volunteers. Regular retreats and mission trips deepen the students’ understanding of and commitment to a life of faith in Jesus Christ. Adults engage Scripture, each other and the world in Adult Education, Bible Studies, fellowship and caring ministries. Global Mission outreach includes Gordon and Dorothy Gartrell (Brazil), Simon Thiongo (Kenya) and the support of nearly 60 children through Compassion International. Local outreach includes Kid’s Hope, USA, a mentoring program with a nearby elementary school; Kid’s Food Basket, a daily meal program; the Guiding Light Rescue Mission; and several holiday-specific programs. Music ministries for all ages include choirs, ensembles, bells, a praise band and liturgical dance, all led by our full time Director of Music and Worship Arts. All of these ministries are housed in a facility that is both beautiful and functional, and are supported by a committed core of members and friends.

🌟 Join Us in Welcoming Our Newest FHPC Members! 🌟

We are excited to celebrate as several individuals officially join our church family during worship on Sunday, June 14 at 9:30 a.m.

Be a part of this special morning as we welcome these new members, celebrate the work God is doing in their lives, and reaffirm the love and support of our faith community. Together, we continue to grow in faith, fellowship, and service.

We hope you'll join us for this joyful occasion!

Forest Hills Preschool had a great time hosting Summer Camp #1 last week! The theme was, "Welcome to a Michigan Summer!" Our students had a great time using their imaginations and pretending to camp and explore while "visiting" special and unique places in Michigan! They even got to finish off their week at camp with a family picnic AND popsicles!! Stay tuned for highlights from Summer Camp #2!
