September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

This month, Dalworth Park Church of Christ joins communities across the country in raising awareness about prostate cancer and the importance of early detection.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men, making awareness, regular health conversations, and appropriate screenings especially important.

We encourage the men in our congregation and community to take care of their health, talk with their healthcare providers about their individual risk, and encourage the men they love to do the same. 💙

Awareness can make a difference. Start the conversation.

Happy Friday!

Today’s reminder is simple but powerful: God is consistent, even when life isn’t.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8

Things change. Plans change. People change. Seasons change. But we serve a God who remains faithful through it ALL.

So whatever you’re carrying into this Friday, keep the faith. What God has brought you through before is proof that He can carry you through again.

Walk in faith. Finish strong. And go into the weekend knowing God’s got you!

In Matthew 4:23–25, we see Jesus teaching, preaching the good news, and healing those in need. As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect His love through our words, our actions, and the way we live each day.

Let your life be an example. Offer encouragement to the discouraged, kindness to the hurting, hope to the broken, and compassion to everyone you meet. You never know how God may use you to bring healing into someone's life.
